I photograph in Saint-Petersburg, Leningrad region and the closest abroad. I am a commercial photographer since 2012, but I take art and nature photos already for more than 10 years. Photography now is not only my job but also my main hobby. I can add that my prices are quite low considering the high quality of my photos, my responsibility and honesty. Furthermore, I am interested in attracting new clients besides of keeping the regular ones. Therefore, I consider client whishes and never late. In a word, I consist of all the advantages of self-employer and have no disadvantages of any employee… Well, I could even say that I’m almost the perfect commercial photographer but it’s already inconvenient for me to praise myself further. Below on this page, you can see several examples of my work, so you can rate my professional level. If you want to see more, you...

Interiors

Interior design art photography If just high quality and beautiful interior design photography suits you, than yes, I also can do this way of course. But honestly, not only me. There are not a few interior photographers in Saint-Petersburg who offer such a product. But what if you want not only this? How about the cozy feeling arising when you are looking at the interior design photo? What about the atmosphere of home comfort in the photography? Or perhaps, your interiors are more looking like palace halls and you want to emphasize its solemnity and luxury in the photos? It’s not a problem! I can do this way too. The first type of interior photography and the second one I both call “interior design art photography”. If you are looking for something like this, I am exactly who you need. Who am I? Twice, in January 2017 and 2018, I won “Best Of Houzz” award in “Client service” nomination. Besides, I am the one of the recommended interior photographers...

Architecture

Art architecture photography Architectural (or facade) photography goes beside interior one no seldom. I mean that often client who ordered interior photos also needs a few images of his building. It’s not very complicate to make a proper lighting for getting beautiful and cozy photos of interior. But in architectural photography, no one can rule the light cardinally, so we have to adapt to a lot of different factors such as times of day, weather and even a season. Probably, the first thought you have is that the best architecture photos can be done in bright summer midday. I can’t agree with it completely. First of all, sometimes, green lush tree crowns not help. Opposite: they hide the facade. Second: we do can get good images in other seasons. But as for me, I prefer the evening time. Exactly in those couple of hours between sunset and deep dusk, the light is most beautiful and expressive. And if there’s a sky not absolutely clean and, at the same time,...

Product photography for catalogue or online shop If you’re looking for professional product photographer, you already found him! Frankly, I started my professional career exactly with product photography and it was in 2009. Since then, I worked as a product photographer for several companies. From 2009 till 2015, for example, for “Water Motor Center” – I photographed goods for their online shop called “BCH-5”. At the moment, I am a full-time photographer in “1000 and one slipper” company. Therefore, I’ve had to shoot very different products – from metal polished flashing items to plastic and rubber ones, clothes, outboard motors and shoes. So, I have a rich experience in working with a whole variety of goods. Moreover, lately, I also often do advertising (imaging) shoes photography. At the moment, my prices are at average level comparing to other product photographers in the city and depends on what exactly you want me to photograph and of the type of shooting be it studio or outdoor one. If you are interested...

Scale Models

Scale Models

Scale models photography I accept orders for photographing scale models such as tanks, planes, vehicles and other military and civil technics. I have perennial experience in professional product photography. Moreover, it happened that for the last few years my good fellow, highest level modeler Dmitry Skurkis asked me for shooting his works. If my first attempts in 2009, was just not bad (Wespe gun carrier and Panther), by the moment, I managed really good result (Abrams, D9R, T-90 and others). Though I provide high quality photos, my prices are at average level. Why? Well, I think it’s because I really interested in WWII history and, in general, in different mechanics. For your money, you’ll get not only images for web using but also photos acceptable for big size printing. If you are a modeler, but not sure about professional photographs of your works think about participation in scale model contests. Sooner or later, you’ll come to this wish. And believe me: quality image of your model showing all the...

When I bought my first camera in 2008, I was sure that I would do only art photography. But now, photography is my occupation. “Never say “never”. I would love to say that you can see here, on this page, all my best photos. But that’s not so because in 2011 I bought external hard drive for my PC and uploaded all my images on it, and, of course!, deleted them from the PC and didn’t upload on some cloud on the Internet. Matter of course, in a couple of years this external HDD just ruined without any warnings…What can I say now? I’m an idiot! Therefore, all my photos before 2014 preserved by pure luck – some of them were on my job PC and others in my e-mails. Only after this accident, I saved all that remains in several copies. Partly because of this, here are not so many images (another reason, obviously, is a strict selection). But I really don’t feel a shame about them. Some...

Dreams Of The Old Garden

Dreams Of The Old Garden

Once, in early autumn, I was walking around my city alone. In those days, I hadn’t anyone to walk with, so I made company to myself, talking and mumbling something. That’s why I wasn’t boring and hadn’t difficulties in choosing theme for chat. Gradually, I became to The Summer Garden that was quite deserted for some reasons. I decided to have a sit deep in the garden, thinking, dreaming, listening. Because I have a strangeness – absolutely always I hear some of my favorite music in my head – those day wasn’t the exclusion: I enjoyed with Adagio from Concerto in D Minor for harpsichord, oboe and strings. BWV 1059 by my favorite classical composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Almost immediately after music started in my head, strange things began to happen: city sounds almost disappeared and everything around me (trees, statues, fences and benches) became look just like on the old photos: sepia toned, contrast and grainy. Moreover, there appeared translucent figures of walking people in the end of...

Peterhof

Peterhof

Petergof (or Peterhof – Dutch for “Peter’s court”) was conceived by Peter The Great in 1714. According to Peter’s plan, this country residence should not give in to famous Versailles in France by its luxury and beauty. General concept of planning of parks, main palace and fountains was invented by king himself (there preserved his drawings and document notes). Peterhof’s grand opening was held already in 1723 and it quickly gained the fame of one of the beautiest park-palace ensembles in Europe. Nevertheless, Peterhof has a difficult destiny. After Peter’s death, Peterhof was consigned to oblivion for several years and only in 1730, started new 10-year construstion phase. The ensemble was very hurt during the World War II: nazi troops cut down trees, made dugouts, pillboxes and trenches in parks, blew up and burned The Grand Palace, taken out statues and thousands of museum’s values to Germany and so on. After the war, by the enormous efforts of sappers and, later, restorers and simple Leningrad inhabitants, parks and palaces...

Farewell To The Summer

Farewell To The Summer

Summer is really a small life. Especially in our latitudes which are not pampering us with sunlight and warm. When the summer comes I always got my special feeling – some kind of mixture of opportunities fullness, freedom, the whole good mood car and the confidence that finally everything will be really okay. Of course it always stays just in the form of probabilities melting with each passing day closer to the autumn. And it means that my sense of summer is just an illusion. But I still can’t rid of it if I hadn’t grown up at all. That’s why sadness gripping me with the autumn coming and it lasts throughout my life. And this photo series is my attempt to express my feelings to the summer which I think the best part of the year (actually, the second best part because the very best is the late spring as for me). But I as all of us am always full of hopes and the best things expectation....

The Beech Palace

The Beech Palace

The beech forest is something special. There are few vegetation on the ground; heavy foliage on the trees, creating a sort of canapy on the 15-25 meters height; rare but very expressive spots of light which manages to penetrate the mentioned leaves somewhere; sounds which closed “in the walls” of that forest. All this together creates the impression of a huge palace consisting of halls, rooms, stairs, patio. The Beech palace… These images have experienced a real adventure before becoming this photo series. All of it were shot by my first camera (amateur DSLR with very unprofessional lens in not very professional hands ) in the beech forest on the way to the famous Djur-Djur waterfall (which is partially captured on one of the photos), in autumn of 2010 in Crimea. Something about three years these photos were firstly on my computer and then on my external hard drive. They were waiting. But I couldn’t imagine what to do with them: they were quite low quality because of too...

One Summer Morning

This photo series is spontaneous. I was just lucky to notice the things finally became these photos… Every image has a caption – excerpts from Ray Bradbury’s “Dandelion Wine”, very suitable to describe in words that morning and these images. Because photography is just like dandelion wine – sealed and stored moments of...

Fairy Tales About Trees

This photo series was shooting, selecting, thinking, gathering, editing and describing (all stories to each photo also written by me) during 2009-2012. I would like to thank Elena Lazareva for her help in tree identification. Visually this album is some kind of stylization for photo portraits of the end of 19th century. Thus you can see here tree portraits with their short...

Selected :)

When I was 13, or may be 14 years old, and opened book of poetry by Valery Bryusov or Alexander Blok, and saw the title “Selected”, I stared dreamily into the distance and thought that sometime even I probably would select my verses for such a book… Did not happen. I didn’t work out well with poetry. I don’t mean that I didn’t write. I did, and not a little, and not only the individual verses but also the whole poems, and even invented my own special genre I called “stihoza” (in English I could tanslate it like “prosetry” – some kind of mixture of prose and poetry). But I still haven’t met any fan of my poetry. But on the other hand, I realized my dream about something selected here on this web site! So I offer you to see my selected photographs: P.S.: It’s better to see the photos on their maximum size. To do so, you just need to click on the photo and then press...

Black and white

Black and white

Black and white photography, to my mind, is somewhat deceptive. I mean that it not infrequently happens such a thing as “image saving” by turning the color photo into monochrome one and, as a result, the quite moderate image becomes a great work. Opposite: photographers shoot any plot understanding in advance that it’ll be the black and white photo not often. Moreover, I think that b&w is contradictory. There are her true fans who don’t recognizing the color one and think it’s just some kind of “consumer good” and, on the other hand, “only b&w is a real art”. There are no less people who don’t understand and don’t accept the black and white images… As for me, I’m far from categorical evaluations. I love so much b&w (or monochrome) photos by Bruno Mercier, Nick Brandt and Gregory Colbert. At the same time, no less I appreciate and admire the color images by Gueorgui Pinkhassov and Steve McCurry. Perhaps, I would compare photography with music. If color one is,...
